"...we need to get back to thinking of programs as being something that transforms inputs into outputs. When we do, many of the details we previously worried about just evaporate. The structure becomes clearer, the error handling more consistent, and the coupling drops way down." -David Thomas & Andrew Hunt, The Pragmatic Programmer

About Me Education Experience

I began my journey into web development my junior year of college during one of my classes (ironically) learning the fundamentals of web development. During this class my professor asked me to assist in updating a website for a local women's guest house. I was still learning during this process but enjoyed the work very much. While the website had a great deal to improve off of, and the result wasn't great, I was happy with it. Many of my suggestions were turned down, as they weren't looking for many changes, the project was exciting and made me want to begin a career in web development. This project gave me my first experience working with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Javascript outside the classroom.
